COOLEST WEBSITE EVER!

You must must check out this website! I cannot even begin to Thank our friends from Circle of Hope for this but i will say that all the time i was looking at the website it was through tears from the kindness of these wonderful people!

http://www.cafepress.com/edensshop

I have been so bad the last few months. Because we don't update the website much and mostly focus on the blog i completely forgot there was a place to leave messages for Eden on the Website and today i went in there and found tons of messages for Eden so i have printed them out for her. Thank you all so much. For those of you who are not very familiar with Blogging you can also leave comments for her at the bottom of each post we leave on the blog. If you click on the word comments you can leave a message there. I promise to be more diligent about printing off her messages from the website as well....

Moving over the hump

We are officially half way through the week! Of course the kids had no school on Monday and I was off of work so we tried to make a day out of it. Eden and I got up early and headed to clinic for labs and quick peek for Dr. Yeager and to get her meds for the week. All of her Counts are doing fine. WBC=4.7, Hem=11.6, Platelets=175 with an over all ANC of 2300. Dr. Yeager was happy to hear about all of the energy she has and she had gained a little weight.

After leaving clinic we went to the house and grabbed Riley and Andy and headed to Dave and Busters for lunch and a warm afternoon playing games. The kids loving going there and always have a blast. They ended up with about 1800 tickets that we talked them into saving for next time so they could get something really great.

By the time we got home it was coming on 5:00 so the we decided if we were going to hit the hill for a little sledding we better get to it and CeCe joined us. I have never laughed so hard as I did watching Riley and Eden going down that hill. Eden was all bundled up in her snow gear so she looked like a big pink puff and she would put her sled at the top of the hill and take 10 or 15 steps back and run at the sled and jump on it. The funny part was half the time she didn't get all the way on it and it would go for a few feet and then she would just kinda roll off of the sled and just lay there because with all the stuff she had on it was hard for her to move.

All in all it was a great day!

Monday night she start her Chemo back up (which of course she was not happy about all of the additional pills and liquids) But in the end she got them all down. About 1:30 in the Morning she started throwing up so we got her all cleaned up and her bed chanced and she fell right back to sleep and has been fine every since. We have Zofran to give her at our discretion but we try to hold off until we know she is going to need it because we don't want to put anything more in her body then absolutely necessary. After that night we have been doing the Zofran as a part of her normal routine and will continue through out this cycle.

Jym Ganahl's Igloo Continued

The kids even made it on the 6 o'clock news Saturday on NBC 4 Columbus.

Jym Ganahl's Igloo

Jym Ganahl invited us over on Saturday to play in his 2 story igloo. We had a great time. The kids then went off and built a fort in his backyard as well. It turned out to be about 4 ft tall. They had a wonderful time. Thanks Jym

Stinger, Eden and Rick Nash

Eden attended a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Blue Jackets Family Room at Children's Hospital this evening. She got to visit and get autographs with the following players: Adam Foote, Rick Nash, Dan Fritsche, Manny Malhotra, Jody Shelley, Pascal Leclaire and of course Stinger. Eden also managed to Autograph her own business cards for a couple of the guys as well. Leave it to Eden.

Busy Weekend

We had a busy wonderful weekend. Friday night started with a trip to the Nationwide Arena for the Blue Jackets Hockey Event. It was a carnival thrown by the players and their wives to raise money for the Blue Jackets foundation. One of the foundations main charities is children's Cancer and Columbus children's hospital. So we went to show our support and meet some of the players and it was tons of fun. Eden got her face painted like a princess and Riley got his caricature done with one of the players. I have a few pictures of the kids with Nash and Federov and we are trying to figure out how to get them online. Sat I had to go into work for a few hours so the kids hung out with Andy. Eden did his hair and put glitter all in it and painted his nails.. (what a good sport) and then the three of them put together a new dresser I bought. Well actually Andy put it together with help from Riley and Eden played with the box it came in. She and Riley took the box and made a robot costume that they could both wear. It was too cute. Eden went over for a sleep over with CeCe sat night and they had a wonderful tea party and Eden lost one of her bottom teeth so of course she had a visit from the tooth Fairy. $4.00 richer Sunday morning.

Sunday we got up early and went to breakfast and then headed to the skating rink for a birthday party. HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY MYKAILA!! The kids had a blast. I have a few pictures of Eden and Mykaila skating together and will try to get a few more up of Riley. After the party Eden wanted to go over to Mykaila's and play so Me, Rod and Andy took Riley bowling. I was very impressed because he actually hit 100 on his second game.

As you can see from our busy weekend Eden is feeling great and not having any problems at this time. I just spoke with Rourke and they are all done at clinic for the morning and her ANSI is 2090. Which we are completely fine with. She will be off all Chemo this week and start over next Monday.

Tonight we are going to children hospital for a dedication ceremony for a new Parents Resouce Center that was donated by the Columbus Blue Jackets. We will try to get some pictures up.

Thanks for checking in!

Monsters!

Aunt CeCe had wonderful tickets for us to go see Monsters Inc. On Ice Saturday but Eden's cold was taking its toll and she was not well enough to go so we traded out tickets with my brothers tickets which were for Sunday and kept our fingers crossed that she would feel better by Sunday.. Thank Goodness she did and me, Eden and Mick went and had a wonderful time. Each of the girls ate an entire bag of cotton candy before I realized it and I spent the next few hours waiting for one of them to throw up or start walking up the wall on a sugar high...

Eden started her second week of chemo on Monday and seems to be handling it fine. Next week will be her week off of the meds and then we will start over again.. After her next cycle we will do scans to see if things are looking any better..... Lots of prayers please!

The kids have been very happy to be out of school for the last 3 days because of weather but I think they are starting to get bored. Tomorrow school should resume and things will get back to normal.
