MIBG Scan

Here is the previous scan and today’s scan. Things are really no better and no worse. So, for the time being we'll take this as a positive. Eden is scheduled for a trip to Philly on November 1 for another Low Dose of MIBG therapy. Stable results are ok. Can you tell I'm convincing myself of that? She is going to school as much as possible and getting tutored almost every Monday and Wednesday. I’ll post more as I get additional information.

I'm no expert on reading MIBG scans and I don't know much other than what I think I'm supposed to look for but I think I see the spot on her left leg a bit lighter along with the stable thigh spot. I am a little worried that I think I see a spot on the right side of her chest.

Overall, I think stable is okay! I'll be praying that she continues responding to the low dose MIBG. Ugh, I hate this relentless disease. I'm thankful for the children who are currently NED but there are too many children relapsing and losing their lives. I can't wait for the day that these children only have to be treated once and the nasty NB stays away, forever! Keep fighting and stay strong Eden!
