Richmond Family Christmas

I wanted to share some pictures of family that most of you have never seen. The first two pictures are of Riley playing some games with second Cousins and Eden with her Cousins Laura and Jessica who spoil her rotten whenever she sees them.. They just let her drag them around and do whatever she wants and Eden just loves both of them to death for it! The last picture is very special to me, this is Eden with her Great Grandma Richmond. Ruth Richmond is an amazing women who raised 9 children (my dad being the oldest) and lived through losing 4 of them already! I cant begin to imagine the strength she must have.

Daddy took Eden to Clinic this morning and all of her counts are good and holding their own. She hasn't had a transfusion in over 2 months....woooohooooo! Eden finished her ABT yesterday and so far so good.. She is feeling great and not having any side effects...

That is such great news, go Eden! I'll be praying things continue going this well. She looks so adorable in those pictures. Keep kicking NB to the curb Eden!

Thanks for posting the beautiful photos! Eden looks just wonderful! NB is such a nasty cancer. Julie obviously doesn't have it but a few children from our hospital do. It really causes a lot of uncertainty, so we couldn't be happier for you all that Eden is alive and well! I hope that these treatments even after her being declared as NED will be of great help to keep the NB knocked down for a long, long time until the cure is found.
Julie's in for scans soon as well. She's been off treatments for a year, but hasn't had a perfect scan yet. Some spots are still there and one was even biopsied yet was benign. So we are hoping for a chrystal clear one coming up! Sometimes the fear can be overwhelming and really can consume you... but I just take one look at my brave sister, and then you look at Eden and know things (had better) be alright. I'll definitely keep my fingers and toes crossed Monday for Eden. What a great way to kick of the new year - NED style! Keeping you all close in our thoughts and prayers,
Caitlin

Eden is an angel living among us. She was sent here from above, not only to help others in the future from all the things the doctors have learned in treating her, but to make us thankful for having her. Anytime you feel you are going through a bad time, just a thought of Eden and you will smile. Maybe through tears, but you will smile.Thank you Eden. Our love and prayers go with you.
