T.G.I.F

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY! No fevers in this house today except maybe spring fever. Eden and Riley played outside all day at Dad and Shelly's and then I picked them up and we headed for Grove City to meet CeCe and Joe for Dinner.. Eden made us go to Country Buffet.... YUCK!! But she loves not having to wait for her food. After that we headed to Hobby Lobby to look for Crafts to keep Eden busy while in having Chemo next week. Eden has the best CeCe in the whole wide world! Not only is she there to hold me up during rough times but she is always Eden's Rock! She makes her laugh when she is sick or sad, she has suffered through 100's of invisible Tea, Tea Parties. She has always been there whenever we needed her, Period! I just really feel the need to sing her praises right now. We love you CeCe!

We are hoping for an event free Easter weekend. We are taking the kids tomorrow for pictures before the dreaded falling out of the hair which Eden is handling like a champ. (as always) and Sunday Andy's Parents are coming up from Dayton for Church and dinner. They are such wonderful people to be so accommodating with our situation.

From all of us to all of you, have a wonderful Easter!

I second that statement that Eden has the best CeCe in the whole world. CeCe is a most loving, giving aunt to Eden and Riley. I wish I would have had a CeCe growing up! She does it all: from tea parties, acting silly, playing kid things, making trips to museums, to passing out the hugs and kisses as needed. She has gone out of her way to provide whatever might be needed to Eden and Riley.
CeCe is a wonderful sister and friend to Lisa and is always the first one to Lisa's side when she is needed.
CeCe has always been very kind and gracious to me, the stepmom. She didn't have to be, but she has. We have spent plenty of time together during various hospital visits with Eden and she is smart, funny, serious and silly. She manages a career, family, extended family and still mananges to have fun while doing it. She's quite a woman!
Thanks, CeCe for being such a good example!

It's great you have such a good support system, that really makes the difference. God Bless CeCe (although I must admit at the age of 20, invisable tea is still fun when played with the little girls next door)

I'm glad Eden is taking the hair loss issue well. It sounds like she's prepared by telling her friends, and luckily it's falling out as the weather is getting better.

Hope you all have a peaceful, relaxing Easter weekend, and especially fever free for port placement!
